Hello!!

I have not written a blog post in a very, very long time. Months in fact. There is a good reason for that, and that is that just before Easter I bought a business. I am now a very proud owner of a business providing music classes to children under 5 and their carers. I am now on my second term running this business, and starting to see the wood for the trees. So I thought it was high time I started writing this blog again.
For now, while this business is still relatively new to me I am only going to aim to do one or two blog posts each month. Probably a review of a music book for children, and maybe a playlist each month. And then when things settle down for me with the business, and as my own children get older and need my input less and less I hope to add in more features on the blog.
My first blog post, which will now appear in October – I have no idea where September disappeared to!! – will be a review of a book in the fabulous The Story Orchestra series. And I have recently read a book with a musical theme aimed at older children, Bone Music, by David Almond that I will post as a review for November.
What music books would you like to see me review that I haven’t already reviewed here?
I haven’t yet decided on my playlist for October. What would you prefer to read – a playlist of classical music for Halloween? Songs for Halloween? Or music for Autumn/Fall?
