One of the world’s most treasured musicals, The Sound of Music, is brought to life by a phenomenal young cast.
Why go and see it?

It’s Austria 1938 when enthusiastic nun Maria finds herself sent away from her abbey and thrown into the lives of the von Trapp family. Arriving as a governess, Maria discovers there’s more on her plate than expected, with seven mischievous children and a rather dogmatic Captain von Trapp to contend with.

Telling the true story of this world-famous family, this uplifting musical was the final collaboration between Rodgers & Hammerstein. Featuring a trove of cherished songs, including Climb Ev’ry Mountain, My Favourite Things, Do-Re-Mi, Sixteen Going on Seventeen and the title number, The Sound of Music, the show won the hearts of audiences worldwide, winning five Tony Awards and five Oscars.
Now, get ready to see the stars of the future sing once more.
Music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, book by Howard Linsday and Russel Crouse. Suggested by ‘The Trapp Family Singers’ by Maria Augusta Trapp.
